About Mo’s Smile Foundation
Maurice Anthony Campbell II, known as Mo, was an extraordinary individual whose love for hockey and life inspired everyone around him. Born in Bronxville, New York, Mo’s journey through The Milestone School, Iona Grammar School, and The Horace Mann School was marked by academic excellence and athletic prowess. He was a defenseman for the nationally ranked 15U New Jersey Avalanche hockey team when he was diagnosed with DSRCT on his 15th birthday. Despite his diagnosis, Mo continued to excel academically, support his hockey team, and inspire others with his resilience and spirit.

Our Mission
Mo’s Smile Foundation is dedicated to honoring Mo’s legacy by funding research for rare pediatric cancers and providing scholarships for future scholars. We strive to turn adversity into opportunity, echoing Mo’s perseverance, and make a lasting impact on education and healthcare in his memory.
How to Participate
Create Your Fundraising Page
Team leaders will send instructions to set up your personal fundraising page on Vertical Raise. Personalize it with your story and connection to the cause.
Share Widely
Use email, text messaging, and social media to share your fundraising page with friends, family, and the community.
Track Your Progress
Monitor your fundraising thermometer and compete with other teams for top fundraising honors. Raise Funds: Aim to raise at least $100 to participate, with higher goals encouraged. Every dollar counts towards making a significant impact.

Saving Lives One Puck at a Time!
Last year on July 19, 2024, in Cresskill, New Jersey from 11 am to sundown, supporters joined us for a day of fun, fitness, and fundraising. They played cheer on 4-on-4 hockey games with players of all ages, participated in a high-energy cycling class, and visited our information booth to learn about groundbreaking cancer research by MSK.
