“Saving Lives One Puck at a Time”

A Message of Gratitude

The Mo’s Smile Foundation would not be where it is today without the generosity, encouragement, and unwavering support of our family, friends, partners, donors, volunteers, and community.
From the very beginning, you have embraced our mission and helped transform Maurice’s legacy into a source of hope, opportunity, and meaningful impact. Because of your support, we have been able to establish the Maurice A. Campbell Scholarship, launch the Maurice A. Campbell Initiative at MSK Kids, and fund critical research dedicated to advancing treatments for rare pediatric cancers.
Every event attended, every donation made, every sponsorship secured, and every act of kindness has contributed to real progress in the fight against cancer. Your belief in our mission honors Maurice’s spirit in the most powerful way. Through your generosity, his smile, determination, and compassion continue to inspire change and touch lives far beyond what any of us could have imagined.
On behalf of the entire Mo’s Smile Foundation family, thank you for standing with us, believing in our vision, and helping us build a lasting legacy of hope. Together, we are making a difference, and together, we will continue moving this mission forward for years to come.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Mo’s Smile Foundation

The Maurice A. Campbell Scholarship

The Maurice A. Campbell Scholarship was established at Mo’s alma mater, Horace Mann School, to honor and carry forward a legacy defined by determination, resilience, and purpose. Throughout his life, Maurice approached every challenge with unwavering resolve, demonstrating that perseverance, hard work, and character can create extraordinary opportunities.
Awarded annually to a graduating senior who exemplifies these same values, the scholarship recognizes students whose drive, integrity, leadership, and commitment to excellence reflect the spirit that defined Maurice’s journey. More than an award, it serves as an investment in future leaders and a reminder that courage, passion, and perseverance can shape a meaningful future.
To date, two exceptional students have received the scholarship, each carrying forward Maurice’s enduring example of what can be achieved through dedication, vision, and an unwavering belief in one’s potential.

Research & Fundraising

At Mo’s Smile Foundation, every fundraising initiative is guided by a singular purpose: advancing research and creating hope for children and families affected by rare cancers.
In May 2024, the Foundation proudly launched the Maurice A. Campbell Initiative at MSK Kids. Established in Maurice’s honor, the initiative supports critical research focused on improving treatments, expanding innovative therapies, and advancing outcomes for children facing rare cancers.
Through the generosity of our supporters, all proceeds raised through Foundation events and fundraising efforts are directed toward research, helping accelerate scientific discovery and bring new possibilities to patients and their families.

Fundraising Milestones:

• 2nd Annual Mo’s Smile Field Day – Bringing together family, friends, and supporters for a day of community, connection, and purpose, while raising meaningful funds to support groundbreaking pediatric cancer research.
• Annual Partnership with Bank of New York and Cycle for Survival – Through our ongoing partnership with Bank of New York and Cycle for Survival, we raise vital funds dedicated to rare cancer research, helping advance lifesaving treatments and innovative therapies.
• Inaugural Mo’s Smile Golf Classic – Held on September 28, 2025, the Foundation’s first Golf Classic united supporters in celebration of Maurice’s legacy while raising significant funds to further rare cancer research.
Each event reflects the heart of Mo’s Smile Foundation: transforming hope into action, honoring Maurice’s legacy, and investing in a future where every child facing cancer has access to better treatments, greater possibilities, and brighter tomorrows.
